Houston Astros Star Begins Rehab Assignment
The Houston Astros have been the class of the American League for the past five years now, and while they've slowed down significantly to start the 2023 season, most of those inconsistencies can be attributed to their injury situation.
Despite a recent injury to veteran Michael Brantley, this could be looking up on this front however, as superstar second baseman Jose Altuve is set to start his rehab assignment with the AAA Sugar Land Space Cowboys.
Altuve has been out with a wrist injury since the World Baseball Classic, and with a 19-18 record, the team has held tough without him, so now, there's a good chance that with inserting him back into the lineup soon, this battle tested Astros squad could go on a big run.The @Astros could soon get their All-Star second baseman back. pic.twitter.com/3Y3Z3VP1mc
