Former All-Star Pitcher Re-Signs With The San Diego Padres

The San Diego Padres have been on a major spending spree in recent years, and they now find themselves as a World Series favourite in the National League, and at 17-15 to start the year, there's plenty of room for them to grow into the team everyone expects.

When star players begin gravitating towards a franchise, veterans will often follow, and that has been the case with San Diego, and after not finding his way to the major league level, former All-Star pitcher Julio Teheran opted out of his minor league deal with the team in recent days.

Now, after testing the market, Teheran has once again re-signed with the Padres, and will return to their AAA affiliate with hopes that he can find the form that once made him a star pitcher which would allow him a return to the major league level.
