Baltimore Orioles Option Top Pitching Prospect Back To Triple-A

The Baltimore Orioles have taken yet another massive step forward in 2023, competing at the highest level in the toughest division in all of baseball, and while they're seemingly getting contributions from everywhere, there has been one glaring disappointment for them. 

That would be top prospect Grayson Rodriguez, who has struggled in a big way during his first stint at the major league level, and now, the team have officially announced that he is being optioned back to Triple-A.

Despite his struggles, it won't be the end of the 23-year old in the majors, even though he ends his first stint with a 2-2 record, 7.35 ERA in 45 innings, and after flashing some great potential, he will no doubt be back, better than ever at some point.
