The 27-year-old has put up big numbers in Australian baseball, hitting .331 with a .928 OPS while spending his last five winters down under. But in between, during the North American baseball season (which is winter in Australia), he's put up more average numbers.
In five seasons in affiliated baseball, topping out at Double-A, he's batted .263 with a .778 while hitting 36 home runs and stealing 23 bases in 333 games.
Glendinning can play shortstop, second base and third base and will provide some nice infield depth for the Orioles at their Triple-A level Norfolk Tides.
