Atlanta Braves Starting Pitcher Expected To Miss Significant Time

The Atlanta Braves have been one of the National League's best teams in recent years, and while there's many reasons for this, the elite starting pitching can't be ignored, with Max Fried, Kyle Wright and Spencer Strider making up one of the best rotations in all of baseball.

Unfortunately, it has now been confirmed that alongside Fried, Wright will miss a 'significant amount of time', and will likely not be back in the rotation until well after the All-Star break, a crushing blow for a team that's started 2023 red-hot. 

This won't push them out of contention however, as this pitching staff has plenty of depth, and if the Braves can be within striking distance when their top two names return, this is a team that will contend for the World Series once more.
