Philadelphia Phillies Star To Skip Rehab Assignment Upon Return
The Philadelphia Phillies were the surprise of the MLB a year ago when they made a run to the World Series, and after picking up Trea Turner in the off-season, they are expected to be in the mix in the National League once again in 2023.
If they are to do so, superstar Bryce Harper will need to be healthy and at his best, and it appears he could potentially be back by the end of May, and if he is, it's now been reported that he will skip a rehab assignment and return to the majors immediately.
Due to the Tommy John Surgery back in November, Harper has requested to play first base along with DH'ing upon his return, and in great news for the Phillies, it appears their biggest star is on a fast track back to the team in the coming months.Bryce Harper may skip his minor league rehab assignment when returning from Tommy John surgery, per Rob Thomson. pic.twitter.com/R8Js2viuGU
