Philadelphia Phillies Rumors: Rockies Slugger On Team's Radar
The Colorado Rockies have been listening to offers for C.J. Cron, and now a new team is reportedly entering the mix, as the Philadelphia Phillies are interested in bringing him in.
It is not too surprising to hear that the Phillies are considering the prospect of making a move centering around Cron. After all, Rhys Hoskins is done for the season, so it would be wise for Philadelphia to add another player who can play first base. With that, Cron would give the Phillies more power in their lineup.
The Rockies have been shopping Cron, as his trade value is currently at its highest after his first All-Star campaign. Colorado is likely expecting a good amount for him because of this, but the Phillies do have the assets to make this potential deal come to fruition. As a result, these two clubs stand out as perfect trading partners, so we will need to wait and see if they do in fact end up making a trade from here.
