New York Yankees Rumors: 3 Early-Season Trade Candidates
Welcome to Baseball Rumors' Early-Season Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players who are already emerging as trade candidates during the beginning portion of the campaign.
In this latest episode, we will be looking at the New York Yankees.
Gleyber Torres: The Yankees' middle infield is starting to become crowded, and there has been a plethora of buzz over the possibility of a Gleyber Torres trade because of it. When noting that Anthon Volpe is the future at shortstop, perhaps they could move Torres if it helps improve another area like in the outfield or rotation.
Isiah Kiner-Falefa: Isiah Kiner-Falefa has become the odd man out in the Yankees' infield due to the emergence of Volpe, so it is understandable that the Yankees are listening to offers for him. Although he would not land as big of a return as Torres, there still could be a decent market for his services.
Aaron Hicks: Aaron Hicks lost his job as the Yankees' starting left fielder, and he could be on the move because of it. The 33-year-old would make sense for teams looking to add to their outfield depth for this regular season.
