MLB Rumors: Los Angeles Angels Superstar Likely To Leave After This Season
The Los Angeles Angels are certainly the most puzzling team in all of sports, as they have two generational talents leading the team, but unfortunately, have not made the playoffs since all the way back in 2014.
They managed to get Mike Trout to sign long-term, but it appears that the same cannot be said for Shohei Ohtani, who 'will definitely' leave the team this off-season if they fall out of playoff contention in 2023, according to MLB Insider Jeff Passan.
The two-way sensation has proven himself to be the biggest star in all of baseball, and with every team likely to line up for his signature this off-season, it's fair to say that we may be seeing one of, if not the richest contract in MLB history.Shohei Ohtani could be traded and 'will definitely' leave the Angels if they fall out of playoff contention this season, per @JeffPassan pic.twitter.com/p8WFzXOwtP
