The Detroit Tigers have released left-handed pitcher Kris Anglin.

The Tigers acquired Anglin in the trade that sent outfielder Robbie Grossman to the Atlanta Braves last August.

The 21-year-old recorded a lackluster 5.15 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, with 61 strikeouts across 57.2 innings of work over three minor-league levels last season.

For his minor-league career, Anglin holds a 4.70 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, with 76 strikeouts across 69 innings and 25 appearances.

He's a former 16th-round pick by the Braves in the 2021 NFL Draft.
