Chicago White Sox & Arizona Diamondbacks Complete Trade
The Arizona Diamondbacks have acquired right-handed pitcher José Ruiz from the Chicago White Sox for an undisclosed amount of cash.
Ruiz had a difficult start to the season with the White Sox, giving up nine runs in just 3.2 innings across four appearances, leading to his removal from the roster.

Despite his struggles, the 28-year-old will now join the Diamondbacks' bullpen as a middle-innings option, as he has no minor-league options available.
Ruiz signed a one-year contract with the White Sox in January but struggled to find his form on the mound.
Jose Ruiz was recently DFA’d by the White Sox and claimed by the D-Backs.
