Atlanta Braves Make Roster Moves
The Atlanta Braves have made some changes to their roster. Dylan Dodd has been added to the club's 40-man roster, while Jordan Luplow has been designated for assignment.
Dodd appeared in 26 games this past season split between Single-A+, Double-A, and Triple-A, where he had a 12-9 record to go along with a 3.36 ERA. Overall, it was a very good season for the 6-foot-2 left-hander, and now he is getting his first shot in the majors with the Braves because of it.
Luplow, on the other hand, inked a one-year deal with the Braves this past season and was hoping to be a solid part of their outfield depth. However, he has now been demoted before even making his first appearance as a Brave.
Teams looking for a bit more depth in their outfield could consider claiming Luplow off of waivers from here. Over six MLB seasons split between the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Guardians, Tampa Bay Rays, and Arizona Diamondbacks, he has 45 home runs, 120 RBIs, and a .213 batting average.
