Arizona Diamondbacks Rumors: 3 Early-Season Trade Candidates

Welcome to Baseball Rumors' Early-Season Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players who are already emerging as trade candidates during the beginning portion of the campaign.

In this latest installment, we will be looking at the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Christian Walker: Christian Walker has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, and it appears that a move could be on the way because of it. It makes sense, as the nine-year veteran is coming off of a career season that saw him hit 36 home runs. With the D-Backs not expected to do much this year, look for them to move him while his trade value is at its highest.

Nick Ahmed: Nick Admed is another D-Back who has been in the rumor mill. A trade centering around him did not occur during the offseason, but that is likely to change as we get closer to the deadline. Keep in mind, he is a pending UFA, so he is a prime rental candidate.

Zach Davies: Teams looking to boost their rotation will likely make a push for Zach Davies this season, too. The 30-year-old could be on the move this deadline season if the D-Backs do not plan to exercise their club option for him.
