Johnson posted an ugly 7.43 ERA, 1.93 WHIP, with 39 strikeouts across 49.2 innings of work, split between the Chicago Cubs' Double-A and Triple-A affiliate.
He has yet to reach the majors.
For his minor-league career, the 29-year-old has compiled a 4.97 ERA, 1.61 WHIP, with 72 strikeouts over 87 innings and 59 appearances.
At this stage of his career, Johnson is really nothing more than organizational depth.
