Los Angeles Angels Release Three Players
The Los Angeles Angels have made a series of roster moves, including the release of outfielder Luis Barrera, right-handed pitcher Nash Walters, and infielder Riley Unroe.
Barrera, who was once a promising prospect during his time with the Athletics, was signed by the Angels on a minor league contract in December 2022.
However, despite playing in 19 spring training games, the 27-year-old was unable to secure a spot on the team's roster.

Walters, who had previously been non-tendered by the Angels, re-signed with the team in December 2022.
He made only one relief appearance for the Angels last year and primarily played for the Milwaukee Brewers' Double-A team, where he recorded a 4.84 ERA over 44.2 innings.
Unroe was acquired by the Angels from the Seattle Mariners during last December's Rule 5 Draft, but he was ultimately released from the team's roster.
However, there is a possibility that he may rejoin the Mariners as an additional infielder for their minor league squad. Photo Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
