Colorado Rockies Outfielder to Undergo Surgery

The Colorado Rockies are going to be without Sean Bouchard for a while, as the outfielder is set to have biceps surgery.

The hope is that Bouchard will not miss the entirety of the 2023 season, but there is no guarantee that he will return before the year is over. This is certainly disappointing news regardless, as he is a player who the Rockies have high expectations for.

Bouchard is coming off of a strong rookie season that saw him have three home runs, 11 RBIs, and a .297 batting average in 27 appearances. After a solid start like this, Rockie fans were excited to see what he could do in his first full season in the majors. Now, they are going to need to wait a long time to see him play in 2023 at a minimum due to this latest development.
