Baltimore Orioles Rumors: Mariners Pitcher On Team's Radar

The Baltimore Orioles are aiming to build off of their solid 2022 season and are reportedly open to making a last-minute move before the start of the campaign because of it. With pitching being a major 

need for the Orioles, they have Seattle Mariners starter Chris Flexen on their radar. 

The Mariners have plenty of pitching depth, and they have made Flexen available for trade because of it. With the Mariners looking for more offense, perhaps the Orioles could send an outfielder their way to help make this move come to fruition. 

Flexen appeared in 33 games this past season with the Mariners, where he sported an 8-9 record to go along with a 3.73 ERA. When looking at the Orioles' current rotation, there is a good chance that Flexen would work well as their number-two or number-three starter. Alas, we will now need to wait and see if Baltimore's interest in Flexen leads to them acquiring him before the start of the season from here.
