Washington Nationals Sign Pitcher

The Washington Nationals have signed left-handed pitcher Juan Hillman to a minor league deal. 

Hillman last appeared in the minors during the 2021 season. During it, he split time between Double-A and Triple-A. In 22 games on the year, he sported a solid 10-4 record to go along with a 3.94 ERA. Overall, it was a decent year for him, and now he will be aiming to take that next step in the Nationals organization in 2023.

Nevertheless, this is the time of year where we see teams take chances on prospects. Let's see if this gamble ends up benefitting the Nationals from here.
