Texas Rangers Sign Third Baseman

The Texas Rangers have added to their depth before spring training, as they have signed Nick Tanielu to a minor league contract. 

Tanielu spent this past season as a member of the Round Rock Express, where he had six home runs, 40 RBIs, and a .236 batting average in 89 Triple-A games. Needless to say, it was not the biggest of seasons for him, but now he will be aiming to have a bigger season in 2023 with the Rangers organization. 

Tanielu will provide the Rangers with more experience in the minor leagues at a minimum, but let's see if he can earn himself a call-up to them some point during the season.
