Texas Rangers Sign Pitcher
The Texas Rangers have made a depth move, as they have signed Bernardo Flores Jr. to a minor league contract.
Flores Jr. spent last season with the Colorado Rockies and Cincinnati Reds organizations, but he did not appear in a major league game for either club. After sporting a 7.13 ERA in 17 2/3 innings with the Red's Triple-A affiliate, he was released and signed with the Diablos Rojos, where he had a 4.15 ERA in 26 appearances. Now, he will be hoping for more success with the Rangers from here.
Flores Jr. has made three appearances in the majors, where he has a 0-0 record to go along with a 13.50 ERA. Let's see if he gets the chance to improve upon these stats in 2023 as a Ranger.
