Team USA Potential Starting Lineup For World Baseball Classic
The full rosters for the World Baseball Classic have been released, and the lineup for Team USA is a Who's Who of baseball. The potential starting lineup is full of MVPs, batting champs and Gold Glove winners, and could look like this:
- C J.T. Realmuto
- 1B Paul Goldschmidt
- 2B Jeff McNeil
- SS Trea Turner
- 3B Nolan Arenado
- OF Mike Trout
- OF Mookie Betts
- OF Kyle Tucker
- DH Kyle Schwarber
And if that isn't strong enough, check out some of the highlights of this potential bench:
- Pete Alonso
- Tim Anderson
- Cedric Mullins
- Bobby Witt Jr.
The starting rotation features Clayton Kershaw, Nestor Cortes, Merrill Kelly, Lance Lynn and Adam Wainwright.

The U.S. team is incredibly strong, but will certainly have its hands full with the insane lineup that the Dominican Republic will field at the Classic.
