According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the deal also includes escalators that could take it north of $9 million, as well as buying out Moore's final two arbitration-eligible seasons along with an additional free agent year.
The thirty-year-old is still recovering from offseason core muscle surgery, but the expectation is that he'll be ready for Opening Day.
The utility specialist slashed .224/.368/.385, with six home runs, 24 RBIs, 21 stolen bases and 41 runs scored over 104 games last season.
