MLB Rumors: St. Louis Cardinals Shopping Infielder
The St. Louis Cardinals are heading into the season with a surplus of hitters. As a result, they are reportedly open to trading Nolan Gorman before the season starts for the right price.
Due to the Cardinals having Juan Yepez, Brendan Donovan, Alec Burleson, and Jordan Walker, it is hard to find a spot for Gorman in their starting lineup. As a result, it does make sense that the Cardinals are considering moving Gorman. After all, they need to improve their pitching, and he is exactly the kind of trading asset that could allow them to do just that.
With plenty of teams aiming to improve their infield depth, there should be a decent-sized market for Gorman's services from here. Some potential landing spots for him include the Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays.
