MLB Rumors: Seattle Mariners & Oakland A's Talking Trade

The Seattle Mariners are looking to add to their offense before the start of the regular season. As a result, there are now rumblings that Seattle is one of the teams currently making a push to acquire Seth Brown from the Oakland A's.

The Mariners could certainly use a bit more power in their lineup before the season starts, and Brown would provide them with just that. The outfielder/first baseman is coming off of a season that saw him hit 25 home runs and record 73 RBIs in 150 games, so he certainly has plenty of pop. Furthermore, with Seattle looking to upgrade at DH, he could work well as a fit there.

Nevertheless, we will need to wait and see if these two AL West clubs strike a deal from here.
