MLB Rumors: New York Mets Shopping Pitcher

The New York Mets are heading into the 2023 season with a surplus of starting pitchers. As a result of this, they are expected to move one to help improve their roster elsewhere, and Carlos Carrasco is reportedly being shopped because of it.

The Mets signed several pictures this offseason, and Carrasco has lost his place in their rotation because of it. Instead of utilizing him as a reliever, the Mets could very well look to move him to help them land an improvement elsewhere.

There are several teams in the league looking to add a starting pitcher before the start of the year, so do not be surprised to see his market heat up as we get closer to spring. Alas, we will need to wait and see where the veteran ends up going from here.
