The Twins have signed pitcher Locke St. John to a minor-league contract.

The thirty-year-old will add bullpen depth for the Twins.

For his minor-league career, St. John holds a decent 3.67 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, with 507 strikeouts over 532.1 innings of work. He's made 52 starts, 173 relief appearances and converted 12 saves.

The left-handed pitcher is a former 32nd-round pick by the Detroit Tigers in the 2014 MLB Draft.

He's made just eight appearances at the major-league level, pitching for the Texas Rangers and the Chicago Cubs.
