Key Yankees Reliever Expects To Be Ready By Opening Day
The New York Yankees' bullpen was racked with injury problems in 2022, but hopefully those issues are ironing out as we head toward a new season. According to crucial bullpen arm Michael King himself, he expects to be ready to go for Opening Day.

Per SNY's Andy Martino, King says he's "100% healthy" and ready to re-claim his rightful spot as a high-leverage arm in the Yankees 'pen.
The 27-year-old fractured his elbow on July 22nd last summer and missed the rest of the season. The Yankees' bullpen was never quite the same after his injury.
His recovery has reached the point that he's already thrown 10 bullpen sessions and one live BP, while throwing all of his pitches. King says "my [velocity] has been back up there. Movement, everything looks normal. Now it’s just working of timing in my mechanics.”
Whether he'll be used as a multi-inning reliever or a short man isn't clear as yet. But being "100%" is certainly a good start.
