Injury Update On Tigers Talented Starter; Missed Over A Year With Injury
Spencer Turnbull said he’s fully cleared for Spring Training. He threw a bullpen session a few days ago and will throw another on Friday. He could get some extra days between outings this spring but is ready to go.

"I feel good," Turnbull said. "My stuff's there right now. I'm sure the velocity will tick back up as I get the adrenaline rush in games. It's been like 92 MPH in the bullpen, so it's pretty close. All my pitches feel good."
Turnbull will assuredly have a spot near the top of the Tigers' starting rotation.
Before going down with injury in 2021, the thirty-year-old had compiled a stellar 2.88 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, with 44 strikeouts over 50 innings and nine starts.
He also threw a no-hitter against the Seattle Mariners that season.
