Peralta underwent surgery this winter to address a herniated disk in his back after reportedly experiencing unexpected discomfort.
However, he's apparently fully healthy entering spring training.
The back issue may be the reason Peralta was on the open market for so long this winter before latching on with the Dodgers.
The thirty-five-year-old posted a .251/.316/.415 triple-slash line, with 12 home runs, 59 RBIs, one stolen base and 39 runs scored over 134 games last season between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Tampa Bay Rays.
He's entering his 10th major league season.
The veteran outfielder is expected to function in a platoon role this season for the Dodgers.
