Colorado Rockies Sign Infielder

The Colorado Rockies have made a depth move, as they have signed infielder Joe Campagna to a minor league contract.

Campagna spent this past season in the Frontier League, where he split time with the Tri-City Valley Cats and Aigles de Trois-Rivieres. In 74 games split between the two clubs, he had eight home runs, 35 RBIs, and a .253 batting average. Now, his play has resulted in him landing a minor league deal with the Rockies.

Campagna will not be in the running to make the Rockies' major league roster this season, but he is providing them with another depth option in the minors. Let's see how he responds to inking this deal from here.
