Funky delivery.
Posted a 3.62 ERA in 37.1 IP at AAA this season. 6.5 K/9. 2.9 BB/9.

Jacques began last season on the 60-day injured list, but spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Indianapolis of the Pirates. There, the left-handed pitcher compiled a solid 3.12 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, with 35 strikeouts over 43.1 innings of work. He made one start, 32 relief appearances, converted three saves and held a 5-1 record.
What sets Jacques apart is his unique sidearm delivery that makes him a difficult pitcher to face. He has a potent pitch repertoire that includes a two-seam fastball, a four-seam fastball, a slider and a changeup, making him a versatile depth addition to the Red Sox' organization.
Jacques is a former 33rd-round pick by the Pirates in the 2018 MLB Draft.
