Atlanta Braves Sign Pitcher

The Atlanta Braves have made a depth move, as they have signed Zach Mort to a minor league contract.

At this point of the offseason, we often see several teams make additions to their depth before the start of spring training. This ultimately makes sense, as teams around the league want to weigh their options before the regular season begins. Now, the Braves have another pitcher to pay attention to in Mort with this minor move.

Mort spent this past season with Single-A Wisconsin, where he had a 7-4 record and a 4.99 ERA in 24 appearances. Overall, it was not the best of campaigns for him, but now he will be aiming to make a bigger impact with the Braves organization in 2023.
