Washington Nationals Release 3 Players
The Washington Nationals have released three players, as Bryan Pena, A.J. Candelario, and Kevin Strohschein are all now free agents.
During this point of the offseason, we will see many teams begin to shrink their rosters in preparation for spring training. As a result of this, it is not surprising to see that the Nationals have decided to part ways with Pena, Candelario, and Stroschein. This could open the door for them to bring in different prospects to their system.
Alas, it will now be interesting to see if Pena, Candelario, and Stroschein can each find new homes before the start of the 2023 season. Alas, time will tell if that does in fact come to fruition from here.
