Texas Rangers Sign Veteran Pitcher
The Texas Rangers have made a minor move, as they have signed Danny Duffy to a minor league contract.
Duffy did not appear in a major league game last season, but he will now be aiming to change that in 2023 as a Ranger. However, for that to occur, he will need to impress at spring training to successfully earn himself a spot on their major league roster. When noting that he has a plethora of MLB experience, it seems possible that he could very well make their team.
In 234 career MLB games over 11 MLB seasons, Duffy has a 68-68 record to go along with a 3.95 ERA. We will need to wait and see if he gets the chance to improve upon these numbers in 2023 with the Rangers from here.
