Texas Rangers Re-Sign Pitcher
The Texas Rangers have made a depth move, as they have re-signed Fernery Ozuna to a minor league contract.
With this move, the Rangers are bringing back a depth pitcher who will be aiming to have a big season in 2023. The 27-year-old spent this past season split between Double-A and Triple-A, where he had a 6-0 record to go along with a 4.91 ERA in 48 games. Overall, he had plenty of success in Double-A but struggled mightily in Triple-A (9.31 ERA in 13 games). Now, he will be looking for more consistency in Triple-A this season.
Alas, we will need to wait and see how Ozuna performs in the Rangers system this campaign.
