Tampa Bay Rays Sign 3 Pitchers

The Tampa Bay Rays have added to their pitching depth, as they have signed Heath Hembree, Ben Heller, and Zack Burdi to minor league contracts.

Out of this trio, Hembree stands out, as he has 357 games of MLB experience. Yet, his 2022 season was a disaster with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers, as he had a 3-1 record to go along with a very high 7.36 ERA. He will now be aiming to impress at Spring Training to have the chance to bounce back in the majors in 2023. 

Heller and Burdi have some MLB experience but did not appear in a single MLB game this past season. Now, they will be hoping for the opportunity to change that with the Rays this upcoming campaign.
