Moran gives the Mariners some extra infield depth and will look to secure himself a spot on Seattle's Opening Day roster this spring behind Ty France and Eugenio Suarez, of course.
Moran spent last season with the Cincinnati Reds, slashing an underwhelming .211/.305/.376 line, with five home runs, 23 RBIs and 11 runs scored over 42 games.
The thirty-year-old had a down season last year, but had previously hit double-digit home runs in four straight seasons. As a result, it's a good depth addition for the Mariners if they can find his power again.
