Seattle Mariners Sign Super Utility Infielder

An intriguing addition by the Seattle Mariners.

The Mariners have signed infielder Jason Vosler to a minor-league contract with an invite to spring training.

Vosler got into 36 games last season with the San Francisco Giants, slashing a solid .265/.342/.469 line, with four home runs, 12 RBIs, one stolen base and 14 runs scored.

The twenty-nine-year-old has the ability to play all four infield positions, as well as the corner outfield, which could very well land him a spot on the Mariners' Opening Day roster as a valuable bench option.

For his major league career, Vosler holds a .228/.306/.421 triple-slash line, with seven home runs, 21 RBIs, three stolen bases and 26 runs scored over 77 games.

Vosler is a former 16th-round pick by the Chicago Cubs in the 2014 MLB Draft.
