Headed to Seattle.
The Seattle Mariners have signed first baseman Mike Ford to a minor-league contract.
There's no word yet on whether the contract includes an invite to spring training.

Ford spent time last season with the San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners, Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Angels.
Overall, he ended up slashing .206/.302/.313, with three home runs, 10 RBIs and nine runs scored over 50 games played. He spent the rest of the season in the minors, where he posted a .248 batting average, with two home runs, eight RBIs and 14 runs scored over 113 at-bats.
The thirty-year-old will likely open the season at Triple-A Tacoma, but it's again likely that we see the journeyman move around the league again this year.
