Seattle Mariners Release Three Players
The Seattle Mariners are moving on from three minor-league players.
The Mariners have cut the following players:
- RHP Brayan Diaz.
For his minor-league career, Diaz has appeared in 13 games, recording a 5.06 ERA, 1.88 WHIP, and 17 strikeouts over 16 innings. The twenty-two-year-old has converted one save and holds a 1-0 record.
- RHP Emmanuel Marcano
For his minor-league career, Marcano has started three games, made 29 relief appearances, converted four saves, and holds an 8-2 record. In 66.1 innings pitched, the twenty-year-old holds a decent 3.53 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, an 67 strikeouts.
- OF Andy Sosa
For his minor-league career, Sosa holds a .208/.276/.588 triple-slash line, with four home runs, 25 RBIs, seven stolen bases and 19 runs scored over 173 at-bats. He's nineteen years old.
