San Diego Padres Sign Pitcher

The San Diego Padres have signed Brian Gonzalez to a minor league contract. 

Gonzalez spent this past season with Double-A Harrisburg, where he had a 1-3 record to go along with 

a 3.40 ERA in 37 games. Overall, it was a decent year for him, and now he will be aiming to take that next step with the Padres organization from here.

It will be intriguing to see how Gonzalez performs in the Padres system from here. If he does well, perhaps it could lead to him getting his contract selected later on in the year.
