Philadelphia Phillies Sign Infielder

Joining the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Phillies have signed infielder Weston Wilson to a minor league contract.

Wilson has spent the last seven years in the Milwaukee Brewers' system and has the ability to play across the infield and the outfield as well.

This past season, with Triple-A Nashville, the twenty-eight-year-old slashed .228/.297/.655, with 11 home runs, 54 RBIs, 17 stolen bases and 63 runs scored across 416 at-bats.

Wilson provides some extra organizational infield depth for the Phillies in the upper minors.
