New York Yankees Sign Infielder to New Deal
The New York Yankees and Gleyber Torres have avoided arbitration, as they have agreed to a one-year, $9.95 million contract.
It is also a good thing when arbitration is avoided, and now Torres can gear up for the 2023 season knowing exactly how much he is set to make. Overall, this is good value for both the player and the team, as Torres is a very important part of this club and will continue to be from here.
In 140 games this past season, the two-time All-Star had 24 home runs, 76 RBIs, and a .257 batting average. Let's see how he responds to signing this new contract with his play from here.
