New York Mets Sign Catcher

The New York Mets have re-signed catcher Oscar Campos to a minor league contract.

The Mets bring back Campos to serve as organizational catching depth.

The twenty-six-year-old spent six seasons in the Houston Astros' system before playing for the Tri-City Valley Cats of the independent Frontier League during the 2021 season.

For his minor league career, Campos holds a .262/.304/.654 slash line, with nine home runs, 109 RBIs, 11 stolen bases and 95 runs scored across 822 at-bats.
