MLB Rumors: St. Louis Cardinals Making Big Push for Pitcher

The St. Louis Cardinals are aiming to improve upon their bullpen before the start of the 2023 season. As a result of this clear fact, the Cardinals are currently making a notable push to sign free-agent pitcher Andrew Chafin.

Chafin is a veteran reliever that would certainly provide the Cardinals’ bullpen with more strength. After all, he is coming off of a very strong season, so it would make plenty of sense for the Cards to bring him in with their “World Series or bust” expectations.

It will be intriguing to see if the Cardinals can lure Chafin to St. Louis before the start of the season. They will certainly have a lot of competition for his services, however, as he is one of the top relievers currently still on the open market at this juncture in time.
