MLB Rumors: Prime Suitor For Bryan Reynolds Emerges Out West

The Bryan Reynolds sweepstakes continues, with new teams cropping up in rumors almost daily. A new prime suitor has emerged in the Texas Rangers.

The Rangers are in need of a left fielder, and Reynolds would be a perfect fit. If they fail to meet the Pirates' exorbitant price, however, Texas could pivot to one of the remaining free agent outfielders, including David Peralta or AJ Pollock.

Previous reports had about 10 teams interested in Reynolds, and from various sources, that would include the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Miami Marlins and Seattle Mariners among the most serious. All of these teams, like the Rangers, have a hole to fill in the outfield.

Turning 28 later this month, Reynolds was an All-Star in 2021, batting .302 with an OPS of .912. This past season he hit a career-high 27 home runs while maintaining an OPS over .800.
