MLB Rumors: Pittsburgh Pirates Linked to Angels Outfielder

Jo Adell has been made available by the Los Angeles Angels and a trade seems inevitable because of it. Interest in his services is starting to skyrocket, as the Pittsburgh Pirates are the latest team to express interest in him.

The Pirates are in a position to take a chance on a young outfielder like Adell, as they are rebuilders. Furthermore, while with Pittsburgh, he could have the chance to be an everyday player, as their outfield depth is significantly weaker than the Angels’. This is something he will not get if he stays with the Angels, so now seems like the right time to move him.

We will need to wait and see if the Pirates end up being the team that acquires them from here. It could be a win-win for both parties, but time will tell if it does in fact come to fruition from here.
