MLB Rumors: Miami Marlins & Boston Red Sox Talking Trade

The Miami Marlins are looking to beef up their outfield group before the start of the season. As a result, there is now buzz that they are one of the teams considering acquiring Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran.

Duran is a player that definitely could use a change of scenery, as it has been hard for him to cement himself a spot on the Boston Red Sox’s major league roster. Yet, joining a team like the Marlins could help change things on that front, as their outfield needs more depth. Furthermore, playing in a market that is less extreme could help him take that next step in his development too.

Alas, we will need to wait and see if Boston and Miami end up striking a deal centering around Duran before the start of the season from here. With the Marlins shopping pitchers, perhaps the Red Sox could aim to land one of them in a Duran trade.
