MLB Rumors: LA Dodgers Making Push for Rockies Slugger

The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to add a bit more pop to their lineup before the start of the season, and now there are rumblings that they are one of the teams currently linked to Colorado Rockies slugger C.J. Cron.

Cron is coming off of an All-Star season, so the Rockies are reportedly open to the prospect of moving the veteran while his trade value is at its highest. It ultimately makes sense, as their playoff hopes are not too promising heading into 2023. As a result, they could land some quality assets for the future if they move Cron to a team like the Dodgers.

Alas, we will need to wait and see if these two National League teams end up striking a deal centering around Cron from here.
