MLB Rumors: Insider Links Red Sox to Veteran Infielder

After signing Adam Duvall to a one-year deal, the Boston Red Sox may not be done making moves. According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Red Sox are also making a push to sign veteran infielder Josh Harrison.

It makes sense that the Red Sox are looking to add to their infield group at this point of the offseason. They of course lost star shortstop Xander Bogaerts to the San Diego Padres through free agency and Trevor Story had elbow surgery, so they have holes to fill. Thus, bringing in an experienced player like Harrison on an affordable deal would make sense.

Harrison spent this past season with the Chicago White Sox, where he had seven home runs, 27 RBIs, and a .256 batting average in 119 games. Overall, he is still a solid player to have, so we will have to wait and see if the Red Sox can successfully sign him from here.
